Gunnalong Safety Works Project - Kerb and Gutter (SO Kerb) Extrusion Works
Client: Transport for NSW
As part of the Gunnalong Safety Works Project on the New England Highway, approximately 6 km north of Bendemeer, the works involved the extrusion of kerb and gutter infrastructure in line with TfNSW requirements. The scope included 1,447 metres of S/O Kerb (Dish Drain) extrusion, placement of 1,447 metres of no-fines concrete bedding as a provisional item, and the construction of all required transitions and turnouts in accordance with project specifications.
Apron Slabs and Finishing Works
Key activities comprised preparation and placement of bedding, extrusion of kerb and gutter, and application of a sand and cement slurry to ensure durability and structural strength. Delivery was guided by a works methodology and program to manage sequencing, resourcing, and quality assurance, with all works completed to TfNSW standards for kerb and gutter construction within the New England District.
