Install Stormwater Drainage Structures, Davey Road
Client: Transport for NSW
The project comprised the installation of stormwater drainage infrastructure as part of the Davey Road Interchange Upgrade, carried out in accordance with TfNSW contract requirements and engineering specifications. Works included supply of bedding and backfill materials, excavation, laying and backfilling of drainage pipes, and installation of culverts as detailed in drawings DS2020/000326 and DS2019/001499 (SM-0400 to SM-0418). TfNSW supplied RCPC units, headwalls, and box culverts, with installation completed by the contractor under strict compliance standards.
Quality Assurance and Management Systems
Quality assurance measures included CCTV inspection and reporting in accordance with R11 Clause 5.2, alongside compliance with multiple TfNSW QA Specifications (G2-C41, G10, G22, TPR-G22, G36, G38, Q4, R11, R16, R53, B80, 3211). Utilities were identified and marked on site by TfNSW, with the contractor responsible for physical location and potholing. A 12-month warranty period was applied to all completed works. Delivery was further supported by integrated management systems covering quality, environmental controls, safety, community engagement, industrial relations, and programming, with all personnel trained and certified to meet TfNSW requirements.
