LRCI Round 4 footpath replacement

The project involved the removal and replacement of existing concrete footpaths, along with the construction of new reinforced concrete paths and pram ramps around the Corowa Foreshore. All works were delivered in line with Federation Council specifications and under the direction of the Superintendent to ensure compliance and quality outcomes.
Excavation, Reinforcement, and Finishing Works
Key activities included excavation to design depths, preparation and compaction of a granular sub-base, placement of SL72 reinforcement, and pouring of 25MPa concrete. The footpaths were finished with a broom texture and picture-framed edges, while contraction and expansion joints were installed in accordance with SD301 requirements. Curing was applied immediately after finishing to ensure durability and performance.
